There are many ways to practice yoga, and while each approach has value, only you can discover what feels right to you. In this Foundations series we will examine common poses and modifications so that you can feel comfortable trying classes from many teachers and styles of yoga. Beyond the poses, we will explore the functional ways your body moves so that you can discover your patterns, deepen your self-discovery, and honor your resistance and your fluidity. My goal is for you to be able to approach any pose and any class with curiosity, deep connection to your inner wisdom, and the confidence to discern what is right for you in each moment. Each session will include movement, discussion, and meditative practice.
